STOLEN : 28 Feb : Silver WRX Wagon.

My sisters WRX was stolen at 5.30am from Onehunga.
She owned it for a total of 12 hours.
It was parked outside her house for about an hour between 4.30am and 5.30am when she heard it drive away.

2000 Subaru WRX STI wagon. Silver, Silver Mags.

yea call me skeptical but sounds initially like the ol' sell the car and keep a key trick... (or know the new location then steal it back trick)

gutted sorry to hear hope she got insurance sorted before buying it?

Hey yea she did have insurance sorted but the insurance company are being super difficult and trying their hardest not to pay out.  They have a private investigator investigating her to see whether she stole her own car.  It was a fresh import, from buy right cars, but would love to know if anyone else has had similar experiences because it does seem like someone at the insurance company may have had her address and been waiting....

If anyone knows of anyone selling a silver wrx sti thats not been thrashed, 2000 - 2002 model, we would be interested as now looking for a new one....

Dude.  I dont know what v7 means.  We are after the hatchback model.  Right now, dont care where in nz they are.  Not too keen on the yellow!!!!

i cant see the engine or gauge cluster but that looks like an STI hatch to me... ;) bug eye - or v7 (2001-2002) was the very last year they made the STI in a hatch variant

Yup it's deff looks like one from what you can see and i'm sure if you were keen a fellow club sub member would have a look at it first to help you out
