Thats been on trademe a while and I seem to remember a friend contacted the guy to go look at it and the owner stuffed him around a bit. Instead he found a Type R for cheaper with lower kays in Auckland.

I dont think he was dodgier than anyone else from Palmy, just not very helpful when he contacted him about coming up to test drive it. Ie he didnt seem to be that keen to get rid of the car etc.

Personally, I would go with the newer one even if it has a bit more ks. Plus it looks fully standard which makes me think it's less thrashed especially if they has history of regular service.

if ya dont think the 1st one is overpriced then why is 2 versions newer only $1k dearer? km's ain that much higher

the first one has been slightly modified and it has been down the strip before so im guessing that would mean that its been pushed to possibly its max. the 2nd one is a newer version, but i don't know if they have thrashed it etc, and they give a very blunt description on the car and that doesn't help me much at all. although the 2nd car does have the more stronger gearbox

they don't give much detail about the newer sti version car. i have emailed them for more info etc. yes im surprised at how low they are selling it for(makes me think it might be faulty). i know its been smoken in(picture of a packet of cigarettes on passengers seat). might have a lookie on carjam

its listed as a GDB,

but is a v7, with high top spoiler, roof scoop, and interesting front bumper arrangement..

has all the STI decals on it and engine, as well as the 6MT... doesnt look like a RA spec C,,

I didnt know they made a standard V7 STI RA?
