So just wondering what other people out there get... I did 301.7 kms and used 53.58 litres.. 17.78liters per 100kms...

What do you get?

last time the average was 350km around town and a little over 420km on open road depending on how much lead is in your shoes of course..

iirc there wasnt alot of difference in fuel usage between turbo and n/a

however if you have 300kw i would expect your gas gauge will go down faster than a hooker trying to pay off her dealer

1jz chaser - 100/10L

4age trueno - 100/8L

wrx - 100/11.5L

all 98 octane and well serviced

and i 800cc. but that shouldn't make too much diff with sensible driving. i'm sure we could both go through the 45L tank within 100k if we tried though lol

No, not really, posts before this appear to be the worst milage people get, not best.

I have done a few 15-16L/100k trips up SH16 Goooooood fun.

I just did the did Auckland to Queenstown, with half a ton of shit in the booot. The wheels were up in the arches without 2 in the car. I got 11.7/100K for the whole trip (got 12.5L down SH4 ), pretty bloody good. Normally road trips in the GTB are 10L/100K

9.35 kms p/L [22.0 mpg, 10.70L/100km]

9.33 kms p/L [21.9 mpg, 10.72L/100km]

I never pay attention to how much or how often I put it in nor how quickly it goes.

Subies I've owned fuel consumption...

1991 GT Legacy wagon, Auto. 300 - 310 km Per 50L

1997 S/TB Forester, Manual. 420 - 600 km Per 50L

2005 Forester turbo (new shape) -, Auto 350 - 450 km Per 50L

2003 GT Legacy wagon, Auto (BP5) 500 - 700km per 50L

I'm quite surprised how economical the 03 legacy is, uses less fuel than a 2.3L Mazda 6!

chrisjunkie, next time I see you, I'll show you the fuel consumption graphs and numbers for my GTB but the highlights are:

Worst (round town driving) 17.5L/100km

Best (open road driving) 9.293L/100km

That best figure was on the drive back from Megameet from Fielding to Taupo and I was driving very gently (plenty of witnesses lol!). That figure isn't a fluke though... it's been that low before.

About 10l per 100km nana driving around town, haven't measured on the open road.
