perspex hood

hi guys was wanting a perspex hood for my bg5 but i dont know who is able to make them. anyone have any contacts or know of any shops that could custom make one???

was after a diffrent look as i havent seen wun on a bg5

what the fuck is wun? if you mean one, you learn that in your 4th year of living

and a perspex bonnet is going to be possibly the most over capitalizing move you could do to your car, the sheet of lexan will be about 700, then the weeks worth of work to build a mold etc etc.

option wun : DIY 6mm minimimum perspex and lay it over your hood and heat it up, either heat gun or Powder-coater's booth

remember to oversize it so you can trim it back/allow for shrinkage

may work BUT beign a Turbo may only last a few weeks/months

option too : Lexan

option free : $7-8000 for someone to make wun

there is another option, take off your bonnet and then put glade wrap over it, its transparent

There was one on a misty GTO down here for a few days before 4s and rotors, She was driving down moorhouse and it flipped up and over the car, The car behind ran it over

I think that cost around the $3000 mark

On that note, if it had flown up and hit the windscreen (not detached completely) at least they would have still been able to see haha.
