first note i said 110kms, and also i run 18's. HOWEVER.. it seems my speedo is now SPOTON when using those road speedo display things.

it used to be about 9kms out on the same wheels and the 5mt box.

Factory and internet figures are almost ALWAYS measured at the crank. A dyno obviously is measured at the wheels. So factory figure don't take into account drivetrain loss.

Simple as that.

And i think it was also pointed out, that not all WRX's and STi's are 206KW from factory. The V1/2's had far less power from factory. Also you have things like GTB's, from factory for the BG there's 2 figures, 190KW, and 206kw. This is cause auto's had the 190KW EJ20H, and manuals the 206KW EJ20R for example.

And on the OT, my GTB is smack on 3000 at 105, not 100. Just thought i'd correct yah funky.

Mine sits at 3400rpm @ 100kph but its a bastard of a box that is meant to have a drop gear in the centre and run on new Forester sized tyres. Both of which it doesn't in current config.

I remember my Mum's V2 WRX RA being about 3200-3400rpm @100kph aswell.

Sam - yer its still quite short, come for a smash some time. I though the R's and RAs were closer to 3400 at 110?.. oh yer you said 3200 at 100

Confirmed last night, 2750 @ 100KPH on the speedo. I will put my GPS in and see what it is at a true 100 KPH is reading.

Yeah I miss that car. Although she got it about 6 months after I moved to the other island. It was the car that convinced me that I needed to by my RS. She decided that she should act her age a couple of years ago and bought a bugeye instead as it had electric windows : . Now trying to convince her to get a V10 2.5L STI.

You'd be wrong about that... my Rev-D GTB E-tune sits on ~2600rpm at an indicated 100km/h, and the speedo isn't that far out.

Plugged my GPS in, was doing 100kph according to GPS and I am sitting at 2800

My v7 STI sits bang on 3000rpm at ~105kmh in 6th.

Which currently means to overtake (sensibly!) I just shove the go pedal down

yeah the factory tdo4h came on at 2400rpm if i remember right but the vf22 comes on at 3100 but it means i save on gas around town which i like.
