am looking at fixing a dent + rust spot under the side skirt..

have been quoted $300 for the job which seems rather dear.. =(

would anyone have recommendations with reasonable prices?

don't have the time to do that..

i realised when i was cleaning the car one day..and the skirt sits weirdly at the end as there is a dent where the skirt clips on...

Yeah.. rust was cause by a dent under the skirt.. i think it was damage caused when it was still in japan..

Dent cause the paint to crack.. =\

On a slightly related note, anyone know somewhere that is reasonably cheap, but good at doing guard rolling in chch? Dont want to mutilate the paint.

yeap, how bad is the dent? is it nice and rounded or does it have a crease? if it has a crease then it will probably need re-painting as well, flick me a text 027 436 3186 and I can put you onto someone, have his number on my phone which is at my cowshed right now but will be there soon. cheers

Bumping old dead topic:

The rust round the bottom of my rear window is now the main thing holding me back from getting the RS road legal again. Anyone still got details for decent panelbeater in ChCh that might be interested?

I have the replacement sheetmetal, just need someone with the skills to remove the rusty panels from my car and weld in the replacements.
