You may have just hit the nail on the head there mate!!!

Ok here's one for all you legacy lOvers,

Bh legacy GT-B E tune or Be legacy B4 RSK REV-D

What's the difference apart from the obvious?

Let the duel begin!

/quote]

correct me if i'm wrong but the E-Tune stands for economy so less power? revision D is the way to go however. alloy bonnet? and will be newer / better condition and stuff. Lights look cooler too

what about a legacy sedan with the ez30?

I'm fairly sure you're wrong on that one, as far as I'm aware E-tune is just cosmetic changes? Not claiming to know that for sure though.

And isn't the only other difference between the two the obvious bit? Don't think there was a difference in parts or performance between the sedan and wagon..

[Edit] Just found this which implies we're both right: http://www.uklegacy.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=114283

yea AFAIK e-tune is just an option (trim n body) i have an E-tune ECU here if someone wants to bu it and see if their fule economy is better :D

Ray, dont buy a legacy unless its a single turbo.. going from your car to a TT is like going from a Suzuki GSX 600 to a GSX 250. I have been there...

so lets clarify.

Rev C

BE5c - sedan

BH5c - wagon

Rev D

BE5d - Sedan

BH5d - Wagon

etune i know can be applied to the wagons from both revisions.

edit: reseach on TM looks like e tune is wagon only.

so you would have a or BH5 c/d xxxx eTune. same as the non etune model sans the cosmetic changes

So far two votes for Rev D over E Tune, any advances?

/quote]

rev d = possible det problems and no easy option to make it into a single turbo!

at least a rev c can be made into a single turbo (ver 5/6 WRX)

if your buying it to single turbo it then buy one done (or a different car) to start with wouldn't you say?

agree - reason for different car is a non money pit / factory run around type item.

but then imo if you want wrx race car another turbo daily car (legacy) isnt a smart idea - its halfway land.

If you want to do any modification to a legacy at all get a Rev C.

Rev Ds have det issues.

They are a cool touring car type and the wagons are FANTASTIC daily drivers/multipurpose vehicle.

Still got a little get up and boogie too.

If you want a car to track / modify the feck out of then steer clear.

If you want a car to leave stock and maintain/enjoy driving then im a big supporter.

I think a be/bh would go alright at the odd track day, no weapon but as Ray was saying thats not what hes after.

Maybe some springs and decent brake fluid and it could cope

Go the legacy, and yea my vote is still on a rev d

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
