A few of us should be cruising up for a nosey...

I shall be making an appearance - I encourage others not doing anything to come along and give their cars a run.

Now, what car to take? coupe or wagon? or both?

It's just a Playday, nothing flash like you others get up to ... at R&T etc.

My interest is two fold, firstly get to know the track a bit better and get some better lines and secondly to get to know the 91 GT a bit better as it drives so differently to the 89 RS. Hardly surprisingly given he changes made to it.

Have joined the Trainer Driving so very quiet in morning, no helmet needed even just looking at lines .. then in the arvo can go out an put some of the mornings learning into practice.

Would love to be able to nail Dunlop into the front straight as I think that would improve my front straight speed and therefore times.

Tow one up and when the other one breaks down, drive the other one home. Great forward thinking when you own a subbie :P :P

That's a good idea. What other purpose does the tow bar on the wagon have?

Are you comfortable with the wagon?

It currently has more gas in it too.

Doesn't trouble me at all, but you might want to consider giving those brake a good bleed or a fix up on the wagon

They are still mint. It's not like we're racing it - but that could be an idea...

It maybe the cheap pads in it - I think my BNT C-Plus pads or Remsa's are better!

It's only a light cruise up there, but now that you mention boost I think the TD04 needs to be swapped out in favour of a VF8...

The wagon now has sti short throw shifter - have you driven it since that went in?

Aim for the stay left, aim for the Dunlop sign (drift slowly across the track if available just near the hairpin wall ends) brake, turn 2nd apex, drift out to near ripple strips, then cut across the side acces road coming from the hairpin etc
