Basically because in england almost every car has to be insured to be on the road.

that is very very cool

what I really like about it, and it is probably the mechanic in me is that by the looks of it the unit is a complete drop in, which means you can change a valve/unit from the top without removing the cylinder head, which means to me that you should be able to make the top of the cylinder integral with the cylinder negating the need for a headgasket.
