Brake pad reccomendations

There is znoelli, I got my pads for the front for just under $100 full set and they are pretty damn good.

The Bendix ultimate is bout twice the price and I don't believe they are any better.

I think Funkytown is running znoelli pads in his car (not sure)

+1 for bendix ultimates.

Negatives are:

Have a tendancy to chew out discs when not up to temp.

Wear reasonably quickly

Lots of Dust

Positives are:

Far less likely to experience fade

Your legacy will stop on a dime.

Swapping my 500km old top shelf repco pads with another set of ultimates this weekend. The repco pads are that bad/ultimates are that good.

Quote on OEM Stuff

$142+gst front

$142+gst rear

BNT cant get Ultimates for the front, apprently they reckon im in for $200 per pair anyway base don the ones they get for ford and holden.

Making the EBC Green Stuff @ $275 delivered seem like a good buy, and OEM not bad either.

Anyone know how much I should expect to pay per rotor for machining ? from memory I got pinged $100 per rotor on my old 1999 B4, seemed a bit steep.

I went to Bnt to get some rears for my wagon the other day, they have their own brand that they get made overseas (C plus - ceramic), evidently supposed to be really low dust and perform well, and last ages. Heaps cheaper than Ripco/ Supercrap decent alternatives, seem good so far. $120 odd front+rear. came highly recommended from the worker who has them fitted to his and wife's cars, does heaps of towing too.

Anyone heard of Remsa Pads ? $140 inc gst for full set.

Waikato Clutch & Brake sell them, meets european standard, owner uses them and has a few friends that use them, courier drivers, truck drivers, with lots of frequent stop \ start driving, all good reviews.

The Remsa testing prodcedures look pretty stringent as well

all brake pads I've driven with are good enough and do the trick... just I like bendix ultimates better than the rest (including Ferodo TS2000)

Good bite from cold and seemed to stop on a dime. lots of brake dust but meh

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
