Anyone watch this?

People at the end give subaru owners a bad name

Couldn't tell if it was an STi or just a wrx with sti badges, but the suspension apparently (according to the cop) was shattered, and she was arguing how she owned the car for 18 months and had 3 warrants with these suspension and how she goes up and down Devils Staircase (Not sure where that is) with no problems.

Not really any good shots of the car itself mainly front on D:

Yeah man watched this, definatly giving is all s bad name.

The suspension would be shattered! Did you not see the size of her?

HAHAHA!!! definatly!

i also found it so crazy how that cop could give that guy a $150 ticket without any proof of the guy doing anything?!

By all means i'm not a small person, and if the suspension is as low as it looked surely the tyres would be rubbing on the guards with someone her size, that's why I won't lower my car to much, poor thing carries enough weight around without me making it hit the tyres :P

And the cop who gave the aussie guy a fine said the lady who reported him had 2 other witnesses to back her story, so it wasn't her vs him sort of thing

Easy

2 witnesses gave sworn statements and are prepared to go to court...

Not giving you an argument,

Stating fact as it is, a witness statement form a credible 3rd party is more than enough to give a ticket. Been a witness myself a fair few times, made it all the way to court once...

haha it was, her and her son. they were they 2 witnesses, i wasnt blaming the whole police force, just thought it was pretty rough how he could give him a ticket based on somebodies word, without facts.

It happens alright. Happened to me. I got given two tickets, at 35 demerit points each, plus the maximum fine. I didn't actually do what they said, but one eye witness, who was just pissed off I passed him, decided to call the cops.

Of course, I didn't do any of the things he said he did. And I couldn't get those demerit points as I would lose my license.

So, I did get the lawyers involved. In addition to that, the case was in Taupo, and I'm in Welly, so my lawyer in Welly had to retain a lawyer in Taupo to represent me. And so it went, the best thing ended up just pleading on one of the charges, as it was going to be a 50/50 call on the day.

And so it went. So, yeah, it does happen. I don't blame the police, they were just basing it on what they were told, but that little botherer in the silver holden station wagon, I won't forget you and your plaid shirt in a hurry.

Had similar happen to me, except without witnesses. Cop just decided I was speeding when it was the guy behind me. Rage ensued.

Yep. Fat Invercargill slag. I recognise the car from town. Its a ruined hack. Devils staircase used to be the most dangerous road in NZ but now its sealed its the most awesomest drive and quite safe, so in reality it has no reference to her suspension.

Spray can mags and bonnet mate an the driver seat is obviously shagged if shes in it (no offence to the overly large in the forums)

I've been told from a few people

edit

http://www.nzta.govt.nz/resources/roadcode/about-limits/speed-limits.html

but after looking at the nzta website it says

Important

If a driver exceeds a permanent posted speed limit by more than 40km/h, there is an automatic 28-day licence suspension.

If a driver exceeds a temporary speed limit by more than 50km/h, there is an automatic 28-day licence suspension.

Why do all the fat chicks pick the poor old STI for their car ?

There's an awful white with gay stripes STI v6 in Palmy driven by a generously proportioned girl (I think).

I swear the springs have sagged on the driver's side !

;D

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
