The bottem mounted turbo is a great idea for people who like front mounted i/c but must of added alot of unnecessary piping to the top mount! Cant really understand why they would still have one myself.

The diesel turbo configuration is completely different... they're mounted in the same sort of place, but the actual turbo internals and setup between the two have really nothing in common.

Turbo placement = Mean. Bout time. Tho +1 on why sill retain the topmount.

The shape: Looks like a korean maxima ffs. BUT, I think they will benefit immeasurably from decent wheels, a height drop and bodykits that replace the entire front, and rear bumpers.

I reckon they need to replace the entire chassis to make it look good... but that's me.

And yeah, i was thinking about the oil pan too... hmmm, factory dry sump anyone? Would love to know

Drove one of the new Legacy's the other day... Brilliant car to drive IMO, the chassis and suspension is very sharp and the CVT trans is even quite good, it would take a bit of getting used to though... the tacho sits at just over 3k and the speedo just keeps climbing at a rapid rate...

The shape isint *that* bad... if you look at the front closely in person, it almost looks like a Baby Nissan GT-R.

They're all going to framed windows. All to do with side impact performance and reduction of wind noise.

And yes there is a scavenger pump for the turbo oil drain.
