I cant think of any general maintenance items that would earn you fine if you failed to spot them. The possible exception would be a lightbulb out, but youd have to have a serious problem with authority to end up getting fined for something like that.

if you get caught not paying your rego over here in Brisbane you would of got 2 tickets

1 for the rego being unpaid

AND

1 for not having the compulsory third party insurance (part of the rego)

the cops are so anal they will break every offence down to it's smaller parts and ticket every single one

compulsory third party insurance covers anything you hit including people or property

and anybody that gets injured in your car if you have an accident

and people will sue over here just like America,no ACC over here to save your ass

my rego is AUS $685 a year for my 03 wrx and my full comp cover on top of the rego and CTP is $680

and the fines are around $800 upwards for no rego and insurance depending on which STATE you are in

Yep Only when they catch you and when they can be bothered.

I do 1200K's per week and have only been pulled over twice in three years... (both in holidays on so called blitzes on the Bruce highway - no tickets tho)...

Around $28,000 to $35,000 depending on km's and condition maybe a bit cheaper at the moment as the market is in a hole due to the economy

You have to have it mounted in a verticle plane but can be inclined left or right upto 45deg.

Hence Cuddas' ticket.

The utes etc are all legal

stupid yellow light and his reply was that you shouldn't need to speed through them which i agreed to i didn't even see him as he was an under cover green toyota of all things and it was foggy as fark and it wasn't till i'd pulled up in the four square that i saw him lol.

he did block me in and in the process blocked the entrance to the four square he got out and asked if i saw him which i said no and asked him whats up? got the less of the two speeds and he even allowed me to go and get my demons while he wrote the ticket, You should of seen the clerks face lol.

came out got the ticket showed me the speeds i asked since when have you had the toyota he said since we needed to catch boyracers like yourself, grr. (its not a supra buddy)
