the first and last are identicle and the middle one is whacky lol

adv and opinions plz (hopefully to get better on next round)

runs were on a semi-hot day

(carjam states the weight of the car - v7 sti - as 1700kg... :o .. how true are they? cos with driver and bit sounds thats like 1800+kg )

Looks like you\'re a pretty good driver. Excellent 60ft and 1/8th is very low given the low trap speed from car with not huge power, I\'m guessing at around 220/230kw?

yea its round the 230kw mark

60ft was 1.76-1.8

i was thinking a better 60ft maybe 1.65-1.70 will net a better ET or drop in 11sec....?

will tune up the power round another 10kw or so before next round

is the car doing better at low end ot top end (basd on time slips)

im not too certain how to work that out like some ppl do...

First half of the track is best. Every .1 off 60ft is .2 off et, so yes its possible. Will be doing very well if you manage it with only 230

based on slips u reakon need more low end or more top end go?

damm v7\'s are so heavy but the idea is to pull 11 with full street trim

Do you mean in your power band? I would say power in lower rpm of the power band is most crucial the first half of the track where as second half is all about peak power. Increasing your peak power will probably yield the biggest result for you

I wouldn\'t call a v7 a heavy car

ok sweet so top end it is then...

will basically be tweaking cams and get some top end for a bit more trapspeed and hopefully drop ET

v7 is rather heavy compared to a gc8

something along the lines of 200-250kg i read on multiple forums

never weighed any back to back so going by the interwebs...

Weighed my V7 RA STI last year and it had 1500kg with me in it, so without me in it i calculated it around 1370kg

try and get more top end power as this is where you will be most of the time, even getting off the line you still going to be in the 6k mark but other then that look really good, slicks will get you in the 11s

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
