Depends how much tint you put on and you cant cover a red rear reflector. My indicators look black but glow amber.

combine tint film / spray with gruntier lightbulbs or elleedees = done

whole car needs to be up to standard first or it just makes you look hellabogan though, right car it can look mint - like the white & black stormtrooper look

Or amber bulbs behind factory amber but tinted lens instead of clear bulbs. Works if your tail lights are faded too as its the colour of the light not the fade on the lens.

I recall vaguely they have to be visible during the day at 100m or something like that, any less any no woffy

the letter of the law says your not allowed to alter the exterior of the lenses

Yea my bad Im meaning you will probably pass your warrant. Most cops/inspectors just make sure the reflectors arent covered and lights shine right colour. Big crack down with equivalent of mod squad up here a few years ago that was all they were concerned about.

What you get away with depends how much of a cock you are when you get pulled up.

I like them, just not a fan of anything that will reduce visibility of tail lights.....Seen a few DIY jobs that I could barely see the light with the brakes on during the day.

same tinting as the 3rd gen is all it really needs, the B4 tinting makes the rear end look a million times better, i cringe every time i see pics of an american non tinted one
