Part of the reason I don\'t like to go to town anymore in Tauranga is the only real parking is across the railway tracks and even with cameras around thieves are aplenty.

Bayfair carpark also has a pretty bad name, yet again with cameras around.

I work at Papamoa Plaza so I am constantly walking out the front to see if my baby is safe in the carpark

I am probably more paranoid than most though I even lock my car at the petrol station, have done it with the missus inside a few times which gets a wtf look from her but once you have had a car ripped off you become excessive compulsive paranoid.

Hopeflly most places start upgrading to decent quality surveillance systems soon theres no bloody excuse now as 720p and 1080p cameras cost little more, and still less than the old ones used to, and storage space for surveillance systems is ridiculously cheap now.

Yea bayfair\'s fecking terrible. Had some low life break into the work van with a camera less than 10m away and it still couldn\'t get a half arse pic of them, just lucky they couldn\'t tell the expensive stuff from the cheap and only ended up getting a couple of hundred worth

After living overseas and petrol station car jacking (People hiding in backs of cars until you drive off then jacking your ride) being a thing i\'m surprised people don\'t lock their cars at petrol stations so yeah fair enough bud.
