GD dash into GC

Who has done a full GD dash and center console conversion on a GC? Got a complete GD dash and center console inc support bar etc etc that I was thinking of putting in one of my gf8's just not sure how difficult it is and if it's worth the hassle to do so... Also do all the GD control plugs like heater, cluster, hazards etc marry to the GC ones?

It's the full set up inc everything from dash support bar, dash, centre console, shifter boot and knob, even the wee bit that runs along bottom of windshield.

I have seen 2 different BC/BF legacys with GD model dash and door cards fitted so it can be done its just the wiring that would be a pain. I do know at least one of the cars I have seen with this conversion was running full V7 engine,drive train and wiring loom so that would make it easier to make the dash cluster work.

I really like it a, but the STi is being built to be sold. I really want to do it but just not sure if I can justify putting the effort into doing the conversion considering the car is going straight out the door.

Both conversions I've seen (San &Viv) have a big gap around the front of the dash where it doesn't meet the windscreen. Not sure how you could tidy that up.

if you had the patience; you could cut and graft the two dash's together at the back(windscreen side), that'd get rid of the gap.

Although I thought that chicks dig gap? wrong gap?
