Not decat vs cat both systems had no cat. Not measured just car felt heaps more alive at any given rpm. Obvious bottleneck.

Same here....I know what you mean by more alive when i went from 2.5 to 3

Look forward to putting it on the dyno and seeing how much actual difference it has made

Went from 3" downpipe into 2.5" midpipe and muffler to 3" all the way through, instant 27kw gain from 206 to 233wkw.

On a Dynapack no less.

Thanks for all the info guys. I do have a 3 inch exhaust from the turbo back and was hoping to quieten it with an Adrenlin R muffler, as my current muffler appears to be unbranded.

The Adrenalin R louvered baffle mufflers certainly do a good job. I recently fitted one of their centre resonators to my race car and the noise difference was definitely noticeable, my neighbour doesn't complain when I start my car up anymore lol!. No power loss either with the larger baffled resonator (we did a before & after on the dyno).

I have an Adrenalin R on my BE5. I love it! :) Far better than the Rage one I had
