Cheap handling modification & poly bushes

What is a good bang for buck suspension mod for my subaru impreza 2.0r?

Would upgrading to poly bushes on the suspension components be a good mod and can I do it myself and will it be noticeable? 

I have already got a rear sway bar coming which will help the understeer but should I also get a front sway bar? would it be worth it?

I guess that a front sway bar would give you more understeer but less body roll.

I'm not an expert on sway bars though

yea, What I was hoping was that it would overall make handling better but it would still understeer but just at a faster speed.

If your looking for faster understeer then the front sway bar seems good to me

Hopefully someone with a front sway bar will give his feedback on this topic

unfortunately its not the wrx and I dont think wrx/sti ones fit.

What's your chassis? GH?

Whats your whole chassis number on the vin plate? 

Whiteline uses the same front bars for non WRX/STI 07-11 Impreza's as the BL/BP Legacy's

good tyres will give the best bang for buck over any mod you can do

 

generally people go for rear sway bar/links/bushes before front

Noticed a huge difference going from cheap firehawks to the Maxxis something or other I swapped to. Made a massive difference in cornering.

Ill have to check later. its a 2008 so does that mean it I can use a whiteline front bar from a bl/bp legacy?

Go and look. It should be listed as Applied Model Code on the Fuji Heavy Industries plate riveted to your passenger side front strut tower. This is one of the most useful pieces of information when shopping/ hunting for parts for your car.

Yep, It has Approval number. category, something that says 'subaru g-3", GVM 1890 and VIN. Thats all there is. Cant find 'applied model code' I took a photo which I can put up if you like.

Aaaaahh, have a look at the bottom of the b pillar with the doors open. Should be a white sticker with that info on. Cant remember which side tho

Selling the car and replacing it with a GC8 is probably the best value for money suspension upgrade? Lighter and more nimble car that's designed for performance, rather than a family car.
