  1. The people have asked, and we've delivered. After some back and forth with COBB we're now authorised dealers for New Zealand. We have been been getting requests for the last couple of years about COBB parts and since we've become much more involved in the Subaru scene this has only increased! We have the full range available to us including their game changing Accessport systems as well as the extensive knowledge from COBB Tuning to back it all up. We can also supply their "stage" upgrade kits as package deals. Please visit the COBB website - https://www.cobbtuning.com/ and have a look at what's on offer. We are constantly updating our website (http://www.mlracing.co.nz) to include more items but if you don't see what you want on there just send a message over or email [email protected]

  3. Both I think. Never been a fan of no bonnets on cars, unless you are packing a big block V8 with massive turbos or a giant blower on top. Ive seen so many on YT running no filter. Would have to be just for the look on the video as I wouldn't want to drive it on the street every day that way. Bet its not great in the rain This is why the bees are dying out!!!!!!

  5. That blue Suby look cool On the other hand I don't really like the white one, stance is not my thing. I totally agree with what the guy says at 7:00 BTW. You don't need mods to bring your car to a trackday, just learn how to drive it at the limit first, identify what is limiting you and upgrade it step by step.

  7. I think it's just the fact that anything without a bonnet looks incomplete.

  8. Are we old, or is it the fact that no bonnet in nz is a legal no go that whenever we see a car without one its just bogan and lazy?

  10. So I'm going to try and put back my stock springs as my car is rubbing too much, my knowledge on how to do so is watching the blobeye install video and the mighty car mods video on how to install lowering springs, the only dangerous thing I could see was that I should probably use spring compressors so I don't have a piece of metal shoot through my spine, is there anything else I should watch out for? And should I definitely use spring compressors or can I try and get away without them? Cheers.

  12. Could just do it the dodgy way like me and smash the cats out with a drill and a metal pipe. Seems to get most of the gains an expensive one does at zero cost. Stock turbo’s don’t flow enough to be hugely disadvantaged by the smaller diameter, but breathe a heap better without the two cats chocking flow. Looks OEM to Mr. WOF man too which could save you some hassle depending on where you go.

  15. If you read the manuals usually the oils recommended based on the local temperature ranges. If you live up north or the bop and go to ski fields then you'll maybe see enough temp change to care. 5-30 or 5-40 will cover nz easy 10-40 wouldn't hurt unless you live in the Deep South or ski all winter. Even then it'll just take long to start and longer before you can boost the S*** out of it. its only the rating when the car is cold as it's the viscosity rating, once running its mostly down to oil quality and all the science behind the load and friction modifiers added to it.
