Yeah, they said the factory grease wasn't too bad, but not as good as it could be I suppose. They used some synthetic grease. Mate it must be good ha

Did this the other day to 4 shocks, was very simple. Dont be afraid to give a go but do use a vice if you can, makes putting the grease in and undoing nuts alot easier.

mate price up some shocks for a GDB- subaru ones are made by KYB and are over a grand a corner

I did this to my newly acquired red struts where knocking in the previous car . . . . Greasing them worked a charm :)

I used Total Lithplex TAC Ep2 Grease. Was about the best stuff I could find at the time. Rang Autolign and they said it was good stuff to use.

This was the crap that came out, same consistency as butter. That was @ 120,000kms.
