dont have any links to this car at all but came across it on trademe and its in absolute immaculate condition.

Owner seems to be a true subaru nerd.

Well worth dropping 5k on this imo!

If i lived in Auckland id buy it!

Nope a 96 or 97 go for 3.5K or so...

Id give him 2 maybe 2.5K, its an old car nearly 20 years old...

Actually agree with that ^^ It's a very nice example compared to 95% of the other BF Legacy's out there at the mo

I pointed this out to my brother a couple of days ago because he was keen for a BF and he loved it!... then my parents had to ruin the awesome plan by GIVING him their Terrano so now he has a free car (I had to work my ass off to get a car of my own!) and I still don't have a BF in my driveway >:(

That front bumper looks like its 1 piece, and that its simply added over the existing one (As the spotties are quite far back)

Problem? I reckon it'd be an ancient aftermarket lip. I like it allot. (And i usually hate aftermarket stuff with a passion)

Like I said I would not drop 5K on a 20 year old Subaru, no matter what it is...

Not at all, I quite like it, I might go about trying to make one. That front grill is pretty awesome too.

Plus one on this,

What is rare about this wagon, the fact its still going? the fact its a cheap subaru in auckland that doesn't have a monsta tach and chromies?

Nice wagon no doubt, but a 20year subaru with 200k on it. Nikka PLEASE!!!

Age is irrelevant in my opinion. Truly really has nothing to do with the worth of a car. It's all about the condition of it, the rarity of it (or both).

You can't look at a mint 60's sports car and go "zomg that's like 50 years old, it's totally worthless", nor can you look at, say, a 2007 model something that's been used as a rental, and expect to pay anything near what a normal 07 would be.

There is a big difference between a 60's sports car, and a 60's family wagon, same as a 90's sports car, and a 90's family wagon.

While i'm sure that some would consider the legacy in question a sports car, at the end of the day, it is still a family wagon (IMO)

Just saying, the fact it's in good condition, has some rare things on it, plays a bigger role on the price than the fact it's 20 years old.

I would never ever write off buying a car just cause it's 20 years old.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
