240km speedo

I searched, but couldn't find anything about this.. nothing too important, I'm just curious. So i got a 95 rs a few days ago and it has a 240km speedo and I was just wondering do they come with this stock or has it been put int.

pretty much sure that NZ new comes with 240 km speedo; i've never been in a one but only JDMs are limited to 180 and that's why the come with a 180 km speedos

or you can get aftermarket STI ones but they do cast a arm and a leg

ive got an sti 240 speedo, what ever it costs it aint gonna be anywhere as much as the fines your gonna get trying to get your car to top speed!!! then again i havnt had one yet and ive had mine just off the clock ;D silly buggers... 240 is fkn flying !!

your rev counter goes up to 10k - its not a target...

my sti dash only goes to 8k and i go off the end ;D i call it a good goal

nope id say it was put in, can you see dents in the plastic where it looks like its been pryed out.. just a little info for ya, i have a 1995 driver mag with price lists in the back, and the 1995 rs new was get this $87,450 and for the face lift auto $94,990 !!!

i got a 240k sti speedo cluster,its in my rex right now and ks on it are spot on with my car,if anyones keen on it let me know lol and the ks are 104,000

I got my legacy 240km speedo from pick-a-part, $35. Since the BF5 is never going to reach those speeds....ever. I've donated it to the old man for his race car BC5 project - that should see some good speeds on the track
