How to boost membership

Dunedin is now one of the least active areas.

We have a decient membership base but noone seems keen to do anything.

From experence, there are users that will always just lurk the forums and not actually attend events. Like anything, there are people that get involoved and there are people that sit back and watch, its a numbers game.

So how do we boost out numbers, so the percentage of people that attend events grows?

I know from experence the more active we are the more people see us and want to join.

There are members here that joined because they saw CS cars with banners on them around town.

so, post your ideas and lets get cracking.

Auckland was dead as last year and early this year. The last few meets, even in the middle of winter, have had big turnouts. I have no idea what changed it either.

yes they are, but if you work on a similar rule to a radio station, 10% of listeners will participate in the show, eather by calling in or visiting a shop where an announcer is doing an outside broadcast.

so by that rule if we have 20 members, 5 may come to a meet, gotta start somewhere...

RAYDEO, sti_timsarge and myself are representing CS at OSCC and SSCC events. nice to have some supporters (kingersman, dubbedup) but nothing beats cleaning up with the CS logos on

I'll be honest - Auckland became HUGE while Becca was running regular meets that were simply set in stone. At establishments, for cruises, at her house, at the beach/waterfront, everything... different days different places.

I'll be doing the same now that spring has sprung and I officially can't see/breathe thanks to the flowers Have a variety of options for people. Local driving range, dinner/pub, cruise to ___, just have plenty of things going on so everyone is able to attend at least SOMETHING.

get promo girls, promo girls are awesome and I have been known to purchase items of absolutely no interest to me at all because a promo girl asked me to, and when they are not promoting, they can stay at my house.

So there you go, problem solved, all other posts in this thread are now obsolete unless directly related to the use of promo girls.

i think its just a matter of making sure every car you have down there is stickered up in CS livery.

Then getting those cars exposure, be it at events, cruises whatever.
