so is that all that turned up to your previous trackday?

Of course its not, but im not going to personally book the track and risk loosing money again...

I asked to put the last one i ran through the CS bank account and got denyed. so the Club got minimal exposure. but as CS wasnt involved there was no benifit to any paid members.

if we are having a local MM you tell me what benifits there are for anyone to pay their subs.

and dont tell me about the sponsors discounts, because i can get 10-20% out of my local dairy just for asking...

the club isnt here to make a loss, they could subsidize, but if you dont have the numbers to run the trackday, then it should be getting pulled. find out how many people need to be there, collect deposits, so people make sure they show, if the numbers arnt there, well no track day.

yes that goes with out saying, but from experence there are always people that pay the deposit and dont show on the day.

why dont we scrap the track day this year, everyone meet in wellington or nelson, drink beers, talk shit, scam on girls and do some paddock bashing instead.

the whole idea of a "megameet" is to get everyone together. whats is the point in having two?

two groups of 10 is better than one group of 5

Can the MEGA out of the name. Cause realistically, the MEGAMEET doesn't get everyone together. It gets lots of North Islanders together and a few random southerner's. It should just be called the MEET ;D

the amount of people that run bearings on the track then get gun shy and dont go again would be pretty high would it not?

2011 can be a bearing happy year and have more coin for beers and gas/ferry rather than worrying about tires trailers etc.

Hell yeah. The STROG cruise back in the day (kind of back in the day but not really far back) was like that and looked like a hell of alot of fun. Skids on the beach at Port Waikato!

have a SI and NI, do like other event, have a set number of people that have to come to make each track happen, collect non refundable deposits (unless numbers ant meet), so once numbers are meet, no one will be left paying the bill and we can have 2 track days.

like Koom says, people are to concerned with the one meet to rule them all

-smurff

Completely agree. Yes its cool to have everyone in one place, but whats the point if only a handful of SI people go to the NI meet or vice versa? Have two track days and those who want to do both, will. It just so happens that (as far as I'm aware) more of the club is in the north island. Its a majority vote TBH. Isn't this how democracy works?!?

people want a democracy, but also want a dictatorship when it comes to other things, isnt that how online clubs works?

il dictate it then, everyone meet in nelson, il get the beers and girls, you lot bring the rubbers.

This works about as well as a two party political system. Majority doesn't give the "best" answer, it just leaves 49% of the people with something they didn't want......

Don't need rubber in Nelson, South Island girls are clean. Just pull out....

Paid?

Attended Trackdays?

Or just bored people with broken Subaru's that were looking for advice on how to reset the ECU?

Does the SI have more paying attendees turning up to trackdays ;) ??

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
