fuel consumption ... km per tank

hey guys just a quick question or comparison on what sort of millage people are getting etc .

i know it will be slightly dependant on mods etc but i'd like to get some kinda ball park on where i should be .

i have owned a few in the past and my new one seems to go thru a shite load of gas compared to the last ones .

although the new car is a 97 type r sti coupe and the old ones were all 97 sti 4 doors i figured the gearing would come into play but i was getting anywhere from 500 to 600km a tank in the older versions

now i struggle to get above 320km per $120

am i alone in this or do the type r's really haul thru gas ????

nope not really ... i live in a small village so no i don't drive like a muppet lol

but no only thing it gets from time to time is a swift boot up it to pass a tractor or something

~350-370 km per 40L in BF5 GT.

same as my old N/A and VZ

seems to be a universal amount unless your a nana... ???

would no o2 sensor be some kind of an issue ???

i did the clutch not long ago and for the life of me don't actually recall seeing on at all

no O2 will give high fuel consumption and poor drivability off boost

V4 O2 should be just behind turbo in downpipe

I have no idea how many K's i get to the tank,I fill it up and then drive it till i fill it up again.

If i wanted economy I a/ would not own a Turbocharged car( of any type) and b/would make th missus drive as I drive "hard"....

$40 gets me 130kms of 98 at about $2.20P/L i think thats alright for a sti.... i do have a rather heavy foot tbh

Seems excessive to me, I just got 175kms from $40 in my v4 STi. Only mods are a hks intake and bov.

most of my driving is done in town traffic.

cheers guys going off what ive seen so far im prob about right ... i have a equal length extractors and full mandrel 3" maybe 3.5 running 18's and pretty much mainly short stints to work and back daily about 700m 50km about 2km 70km then a short 5km to work and park it for the day . in my weekends it gets out for a play but only when i can afford it lol

Car would very much benefit from a tune to take advantage of the exhaust mods you've done, then your economy would improve alongside
