if i were in dunners id be keen as, i love old toymotas my first car was a 2 shaded primered starlet 84 rear wheel banger! cost me 350 bucks and lasted about a year before it lunched itself on my way to work one day & yeah they went front wheel from late 84 i believe with the square shaped things, some of the 1990 models even have Full time 4WD & a turbo

this is what my little starlet was like, except more s*** & patchy lolz was a good bit of fun to learn in living in the wops of fielding, had a mate who had one (3 door) with a flamethrower rigged up on the exhaust took it out to another mates farm a few times and threw it round on some of the gravel roads, floor second, tap the clutch & your away sideways ;D and a guy i worked with also had an 84 starlet but full on rally car was pretty churr!

good luck with the communal Kaner!

Any chance of organising something for this between 11-17th November? It'll be my last week in town, and I'm keen to drive one last time in En Zud.

I just had a thought, I'm replacing the turbo on my Legacy with a TD05H that means I'll have a spare turbo... see where I'm going with this? ;D

I'll speak to the council this week and if someone with farming contacts can keep and ear and some feelers out to see if we can get a paddock as well.

  • 3 weeks later...

Keep the passengers seat for a while I reckon.

Ultimately in time it'd probably be worth picking up some 2nd hand race-y seats, as those old things would weigh half a tonne. Obviously just keep transferring them between cars once we break/flip this.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
