its just a generic $160 jobby from tradme, any sort that has an immobilizer can be made to turn the horn on insted

He was fast asleep as it wasn't even 8am lol! Took 5 min of door banging by the cops to get him up. The neighbors and all the dogs in a 1km radius loved my horn going for 5 min

Also why did the cop tell you to put your camera down ?? The guy steals YOUR car and you cant film him?? That s*** pisses me off. Having been a victim of theft myself, they match prints to names but Im not allowed to have a copy of those names, yet they took MY car, and still haven't been caught a year down the track. NZ justice system is completely f***ed and pathetic, makes my blood boil

Thats a good idea with the horn. if you dont immobilise it they wouldnt know it had a tracker. and it helps you find the car when you get to the address

im planning on selling them, $200.

that includes,

GPS unit,

remote, to arm and disarm,

siren,

shock sensor,

relay for fuel cut/horn activation,

microphone,

GPS antenna,

GSM antenna.

My opinion is that the siren as a bad idea as if the thief can find the siren, they can follow the wires back to the GPS unit,

If in CHCH I can instal, Price will depend on how much time is spend hiding the unit and how you want it installed. I'd expect 1 to 2 hours to instal. PM if intersected.
