Recommended performance upgrades to 2005 Legacy GT (Auto)

I was after a bit more grunt throughout the rev range, would bigger injectors be of any benefit to me? or GTB ECU (if they are different)?

I put a full rage exhaust system and intake on my WRX RA and the only difference I noticed was noise. Hence why Im not gonna bother doing that again, especially as this car is an Automatic. Maybe just a down pipe and leave the rest of the exhaust standard?

Be aware that a catless downpipe will make you're car loud and raspy.

I was reluctant at first based on your review, but after picking up from Subtech its not to bad, under normal accleration it sounds like stock inside.

In fact I wanted quiet and non raspy and to be honest I could live with it as is now, could even be a bit louder for my liking as its to close to stock.

I have contacted a few tuners regarding prices and service and have narrowed it down to two options: Possum Bourne Motorsport $800 plus GST and they require the car for 2 days for a full dyno AND road tune, and NZ Performance Tuning $895 inlc GST for 2x 30 minute sessions where no dyno is used. NZ performance tuning told me they use proven and safe files and therefore dont need to use a dyno.

NZPT would be far more convenient for me, but I am worried the end result wont compete with the dyno and road tune of PBMS.

Thoughts anyone?

Looking at those choices my personal preference would be the guys that are gonna use a dyno and do a road test to achieve the best possible tune. Look forward to hearing about your list of mods, prices and results achieved as we're looking at an 04/05 spec b sedan to replace our '01 Blitzen.

My car is standard apart from an HKS foam panel filter, and (soon to be installed) Subtech front pipe. I am hoping I will be content with the increase in performance from the front pipe, and not require the additional performance from a tune but will have to wait and see..

Anyone used NZ Performance Tuning?

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
