Have a read on nasioc, quite a few guys use them in the us. seem like the best of the cheapies. but pricewise not really that cheap

Er no they arent.

Some components are but the iphones and ipads are pieced together in Shenzhen, Southern China.

Chinese manufacturing - very much rocks n diamonds. If its from a big reputable company with quality product standardisation and testing then yes im for it, if its not then id avoid.

A good friend of mine runs a Kinugawa turbo on his Evo race car (some kind of TD06 varient?)- makes very good power (348kw atw) and gets the pants thrashed off it. Seems to have held up fine, and does the job really well for the money spent.

they are not worth the price imo

seen imsides of them and they are near identicle to the china td06/o5

better money spent getting a china one and rebuilting with mitsy seals and have a better unit at the ebnd with change to spare

personall china td05/06 and kinugawa experience in both cases

not the kinugawa stuff

for the $$ there is much better stuff out there

if u got 1200 to blow on a turbo i wud pich a china turbo and rebuild it

that seems to get them going rather well

PS... if i did it again i wud seriously consider twisted with a holset ;D

Youll get a new MSI td05/td06 for $1500. Thats what mine cost me anyway.

Don't need to see a dyno when you see a certain race car struggle to catch a street bg on the straights at megameet to vow for them, but dyno plot would be interesting for that bg!

I think you would be hard pressed to find a better quality turbo for street/track use for less than the above (other than one you had built by steve murch)
