Cert for 4pots on BE

Sorry, all the above are incorrect.

Under the kinda stupid current cert threshold, any modification of braking systems (apart from a short list of mostly cosmetic changes) requires a cert.

Whether any WoF guy without a decent Subaru fetish would ever notice, I doubt it.

No and no to the above, recently did the same to a Civic, put parts on from a higher-spec Civic, it's all OEM, it's all bolt-up, you could buy a car from Honda with that exact configuration but it still requires a cert, because hurr durr durr safety driveshaft hoops derp derp T-Buckets.

But since the WoF guy wasn't a massive Honda weeny, and it looks 100% factory (because it is) it sailed through a WoF.

EDIT: I used to be all about being compliant with the rules, toeing the line, etc etc, but the LVVTA has created a few stupid knee-jerk rubbish blanket rules in the last couple of years (the driveshaft hoops one REALLY grinds my gears) that at the moment I just CBF.

Probably voids your insurance though, so proceed at own risk.

if the wof guy gives it a wof then who cares .

and use a name on here that your insurance company cant tie to you for anything else

how are they actually going to check it and get u to prove it was stock / not stock

have heard of people in oz having to prove their gtr has a "front mount " from factory

logans car went for a warrant and he had to proove it was factory turbo . lol most sti ra models are factory turbo . the result was a letter written from armstrongs and someone signing it .

what about my car . its a ra but it was non 4 pot

Just on this because I have just 4 pots, what about braided lines? They are LTSA approved...

And when you put your braided lines on, be gentle when screwing them on, you don't want to cross thread them... it happened to Dave's RA and it was a pain having to replace the whole line that goes to the ABS/Brake bias valve.

mine was cross threaded and rounded to get it off. I say put them on with braided paint them pink go hard and have fun. The amount of subarus tjat have 4 pots on them is huge and ive never seen an issue. Im putting them on my wagon at some point because they are a great upgrade

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
