Okay, so i'm hoping 'tha boys' might have options for me or a group of us.

I'm wanting to run my Bh5 on a dyno to get an idea of what it's doing. The car doesn't need a tune, just the run.

Most shops that have these facilities charge exorbitant fees.

So the question is, does anyone know a place I should go within the community or whether there will be a meet and we can all have a run and pool some funds together etc.

Ideas or info will be much appreciated.

Cheers

Id be keen to toss my BE5 on and see how the DIY tune is actually performing haha. If we get enough interest im happy to make some calls and get group prices etc.. generally speaking i think 10 is the lowest number of cars to make it cost effective

I could indeed be interested in this as well. You'd likely want a roll-on-roll-off dyno to save time between car changes, but provided the right kit, you can do it fairly quickly even with a hub dyno.

Same here. Just for s***s and gigs. Happily make a trip down if I'm not working (seasonal work).

Edit: if I was to make it down, how long/hard would it be to raise the redline on my car to 8000rpm @A_J_T

What is it currently at on yours? Same as the GT/RSK’s?

I'd come up for another one. Might actually see some cars hitting decent numbers now.

Think the highest was like 230odd wkw last time.

Edit: Found the pic of the board, the top result was even worse than I remember.

Everyone was down at least 20-30kw over what they were expecting.

Yup. 7500rpm.

Wanting 8000rpm so I don't have to shift to 3rd in a 100km/h sprint lol. S401s got the EJ207 short block, with fully hand balanced internals.

Entirely dependent on if I have a definition to read your ECU. I dont think I do, if i did its a 10 minute thing

Yea mine was down from 213kw to 193kw that day, a lot of people seemed upset about it but I was stoked that mine made 193 that day.. it was hot and humid and the boost mine hit confirmed it was pulling a little cause it was set to target 20psi and would consistently hit 20 on a cool day. That being said i did have to ask to have them toss a fan in front of it.. so wont be going back to them sadly.

@PBMS you're up, not sure if you monitor this anymore though :( will email y'all

Hi Pat,

Good to hear from you and see you on the forum. I did send an email via the form on your website, but I’ll try flicking it through to that address and hopefully we can get something sorted.

Cheers,

Aidin

Update:

Been in touch with PBMS.. further details to come. Currently looking at something early next year as most people are super busy with business this time "Including myself". When I have more info on prices etc I'll start a dedicated thread with a poll to opt in and what not.

Cheers

No really. There shouldn't be prices bud.

Back at MegaMeet 2017 when PBMS didn't turn up as a sponsor, they said they'd throw us a free dyno day for ClubSub Members as a thank you.

Seriously! I think there's even a post somewhere about it on the forums.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
