So, it's up again and for $1 reserve...

It's still 'possibly' the best STI in the country, and it's still a 5spd singapore airlines special, and, still only done 25,000km (well, the dash cluster anyway)... ;D

Looks like some poor sod will end up getting shafted.

Keep an eye out for a NOOB post along these lines:

Hi, new to the club, and subaru's. Anyone know anything about the Singapore spec STI's? It's the one with plain interior, some STI parts and a 5spd box.

Recently purchased a real low k minter, but i'm finding that, even with my foot up it, i'm getting passed by cyclists...

any help appreciated...

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Refering to the fact that a member had an AA test done on it, turns out it runs like a bag of shit and has NO significant power...

Although this one may be a bit more spicey... ;)

Man even thats an odd add.

Look at the plate history but only done 403km?

Plates history

Plate Effective date

FAW180 2009, August 7th

RAYZS2 2007, January 26th

DPP431 2006, October 30th

And does he mean this car last sold in Singapore cos he states its NZ new down the bottom.

I blame this explosion of wannabe STis on the original perpetrator, he of the HX20 STi.

Lets go no further with this one, but I firmly believe it is in the clubs best interests to mete out justice to these fools looking to smear the STi name by means fair or foul!!

Q

Hi, very brave at $1 start, I wish I had the money to bid very nice car hope you get what your after.

A

Thanks mate. Yeah thats what I thought to. But I need to sell it asap so that I can buy a jetski to start training for a world record ride im involved with from london to sydney to raise funds for cancer. So the car has got to go for whatever it fetches here. Hopefully market value! Cheers for your comment mate. 11:19 am, Fri 27 Nov

EJ20R heads are EJ20K STi heads with a few extra bits, yes?

Someone would have neglected to inform this older owner of the fact that a twin turbo setup on such an engine makes the same power, but the delivery is significantly different.

But yes. Same heads (pretty much), same 294hp, the gearbox has the same part number... it's a bigger, slower STi.

No. Its a GT legacy.

Your shale has the wing, wheels, bonnet etc of an STi.

Does it make it an STi? No.

Im not saying you claim it is(ahem) but you can see the point, I'm sure.

Many, many of the other turbo model subarus share pieces with the STi too.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
