oh yeah, keep that boost gauge in the negatives the whole way, and you'll save a tremendous ammount of gas.

...But you won't have any fun i gurantee you that... and is an sti or GTB about fun, or fuel economy?

um economy when your traveling the length of the country and also want to keep your licence

I think i've done close to that once, dunno how i did it but im 99% sure i did.

I've managed 600kms to a tank a few times, strictly hiway driving.

Around town is 400-450.

Not at all worried if i only get 300kms, that just means im having a fun time doing it Hah

All of the above is with a close ratio box as well, 100kmh at 3200rev

Just did about 380kms on a $90 fill of Mobil 98. And when I mean full, I mean any fuller and petrol would be running down the side of my car etching paint off!!!

Going up north Boxing day with a 20 litre drum (as well as a full tank) as the last 98 is Quay Street? Am I right?

Wish I could take more but its just more weight and more $$$. Octane booster on standby?

Eh, hell no. there's 98 ALL over the shore. And mobil oteha valley (albany) has the lowest 98 price in auckland (there's a number of stations with the same low price though). There's also BP 98 on SH1 in dairy flat (just north of albany). Damn city folk. Whangarei used to have bp98, but i dunno if they still do, they've been pulling it from all sorts of stations since last time i got a drop of petrol up there.

Out of curiosity what sort of kays per tank are people getting out of STis as a comparison to Legacys...

Im particularly interested in Type Rs.

Not a type R but an STI type RA, same close ratio box in both.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
