What have you done to your car today?

Yesterday put Upper engine cleaner in the car, lots of smoke but engine seems to be going a wee bit better

I changed my jamex seat to a fia approved momo one, had to drill some holes and shit to make it fit, and its a bloody huge chair but it went in.

Well, today took front/back wipers off, sanded and re-sprayed. Removed number plates/badges and cleaned under there where it hasnt been touched for 20 years lol, replaced a few old rusty bolts with new ones. Cut wires shorter for horn and put back in. Cleaned up all the bits and pieces sulfer got to with some jiff Tiedied up dodgy wiring under the dash. Replaced blown fuse/int. lights. Cleaned air flow meter, runs soooooooooooo much better now, put intercooler piping back on.

BTW. tried looking for the cars id plate or whatever but cant seem to find it ???? its a bc5, usually they are near the front struts ??

ive been looking for mine too! BD5 leggy. Vin number plate is there on the drivers side strut tower, but cant fine the engine etc one for the life of me, have looked on both sides & firewall but cant see it anywhere, perhaps ill have another look tomorrow, when i install my club sub sticker haha

Well, raining hard over this way, so just put top coat on wipers and cleaned intercooler core.

at least the VIN tag is there....

out to mag & turbo on tuesday to get all 4 brake pads replaced, Tien lowering springs, HAWT new mags & Nitto NT555's to wrap them in oh & oil & filters done at the same time

Went for a long drive and polished one side of the car, other side hopefully will get done tomorrow.

Today I started it up to make sure it runs, removed some more wiring that isn't required anymore and bolted on the front number plate

Over this week I've got do a couple of things like put the steering wheel on and make sure the horn works, re align the head light so they point in the right direction then it should be time to take it down for a wof

fitted the bambelt, cambelt covers and the main pulley to the new engine

And transported the WRX across town to the workshop.
