What have you done to your car today?

brand new 2.5L polished surge tank with AN threaded ports, PLUS a fitting for each of the 5 ports, for 90bucks!!

Brought a fuel injector treatment thing, an engine pour in cleaner type thing before i get the oil changed in the next couple of weeks & a can of upper engine cleaner, will have to work out what vac line to take off then take it down to the south coast tomorrow to put it in

make sure you read the instructions with engine flush !

Some you DO NOT drive once the flush is in- or you'll FUBAR ya engine

yeah i had a good read it was a pour and go one, apparently quietens noisy lifters etc etc, bottles in the boot. if it quietens my pistons -1db id be happy haha

thought i heard a bit of whining the other morning on my way home, was packing myself thinking it was the primary,was happinging around 3000rpm, but took it for a drive last night down happy valley and doesnt seem to be any noise anymore

EDIT: i'll see if it sounds any different when i go pick the missus up from work later, will be cold again by then

not to my car but also signed up and paid for membership today

got bored so i went down to the south coast and chucked the can of upper engine cleaner through it, pulled off the middle vac hose on front of the manifold one of the small ones came off easy as pie, the tube with the can fit inside it perfect, took a few photos and had a smoke while i let it sit, then turned it over, seemed like a fair amount of crap came out, was pretty dark though so hard to tell just how much, but it was coming at me when i was reving it & spraying the second half in, was easy enough for even me to work out lol, and for $23 it cant hurt to do it every couple of oil changes

today welded up the subframe cos it was cracked and a bracket for the exaust,then my blow valve started playing up lol took it down the rd and the cops pull me over thinking im thrashing the car but i was just testing it out so they let me off lol

Sent new grille to get painted.

Still waiting on new Spark plugs to show up

i tried to but the idle was set wrong cos of the new blow valve i put on lol i dont know,bloody mitsis lol

Bought new candles for the R. Platinum ones at 20 each, bargain!

Also picked up my front lower alloy arm, contemplated finishing off smoothing and polishing it then put it back down again lol

Should also have some sti lateral arms turning up for me on thurs too
