Your car looks very nice Roo. I need to do something similar with my bumpers lol. My front looks like it\'s going to fall off any moment.

Thanks mate, has two each side and one per headlight through the holes the grill seats in. Holds better than standard, lot of metal brackets in behind the bumper and guards that you can get rid of for a minor weight bonus too.

Have you extended the aerial? It looks way longer than normal.

Don\'t know? Just the one it had when I bought it, looked standard to me?

Looks like an RC car aerial haha xD

Gets good reception though :P

Mine broke about 1" up from the base still has far better reception than with it off. Need to get another one sometime.

With it off the aerial is still inside the shielding = minimal reception

Holy fckin jebus you could not pay me to ever do a subaru clutch/gbox again

I could knock a VR4 one out in a half a day, this thing ate my whole saturday and it\'s not even together again yet. Spose if I had to do it again it\'d be a lot quicker (was being very methodical) but still

New rotors on tonight, might have a go at rebuilding my calipers after the DOBC trackday as one of my dust covers on the pistons is looking a bit worse for wear.

/quote]

why not do it before the track day?

I was thinking the same thing. Generally, I like to know that my brakes are up to the task before I drive out onto the racetrack....

This would look sick with 22b guards

I think so too, will definitely get a set one day since I want wider and lower offset wheels. Will likely be after the engine conversion in the laurel though otherwise i\'ll keep putting it off

Its not coming out of the shed between now and then and its not split or anything just a little less suple than I would like and the clip on that one cover isn\'t as tight as I would like. Would that be enough to stop them working effectively?

Times a factor due to work but if its enough that I should be concerned I will replace that one and rebuild after. Other than that cover I have no reason to doubt them up to this point.

I don\'t know how much difference it would make to be honest... I just know that the brakes are critically important

on a racetrack and would personally not go out without everything being 100%... and would always make the

effort to get them to 100% no matter how much time it took or how much money it would cost. Maybe I\'m a nerd.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
