What is the clamping pressure for the Legacy twin turbo clutch?

If I use autosol to polish my standard wheels will it damaged them at all? ie is there a film/coating they may have on them I could get rid of by accident?

YES well maybe

most wheels have a clear coat on them which you may remove by polishing.

last night when i was driving to get bread the CEL came on.......

so this morning i went to plug in those green plugs to get the code, but i started it up first. first start it sounded flat then nearly started up and died. second try it started and idled at around 200rpm then died. third start it started up perfect..

so i turned it off and plugged in the green plugs. turned it back on and the CEL disappeared?? unplugged the green plugs and tried it again and it still didn\'t come on.. car started perfect and sounds just as healthy each time no rough idling anymore.

is everything ok? should i be worried

What ratio should concentrated coolant be mixed at? I know to use distilled/demineralised water but no idea what ratio to mix at? Best to buy concentrate or premix?

RTFM? 1:5 i think it says on the bottle somewhere, I just use a litre (1 x bottle) and fill the rest with water from the tap

From the tap? I read that that\'s not ideal? Distilled water is cheap enough anyway, will buy a 5litre bottle anyway. How much water does the cooling system on our car hold, \'01 Blitzen, I seem to remember reading somewhere it\'s about 7litres?

50 percent antifreeze/water mix is the normal, it all really depends on how cold/hot it get where you are,

Antifreeze does 4 things,1/ stops coolant freezing, 2/lubricates the seals and bearings it touches, 3/rust inhibitor, 4/ anti boil.

antifreeze will do most of the above, regardless of age the only thing that requires it to be changed is the rust inhibitor deteriorates over time.

50/50 where he lives. 1/3 where i live sunny north cept when it rains...and just use tap water distilled water is getting hard to buy.

Will a after market twin turbo kit extend the life of a couple of old turbos or put more strain on them? My car is a 94 RS Legacy and as far as I know, the turbos are standard. Or would I just be better off upgrading the exsisting ones first?

My bad. What I meant was, if I bought one of these TT intercooler kits from scales or a similar company, could it adversely affect a couple of already old factory turbos ?

Oh right - no it won\'t affect them at all, if anything it\'ll be better for the motor having a more consistent / cooler intake charge

Nothing to do with the turbos unless you start cranking the boosty boosty

on the other side of the coin, putting on a freer flowing exhaust will increase performance but CAN reduce the life of the primary turbo.

Is cleaning o2 sensors possible? Like soaking them in vodka or something :

Vodka? Um no. I have no idea if you can clean them or not but if you were going to I\'d suggest an electrical contact cleaner, something like CRC MAF sensor cleaner etc.

I\'m sure I\'ve read it a few times, but are all front struts interchangeable - more to the point can I use some from a V-whatever WRX or earlier legacy in my BH?

Not worried about rears - just think one of my fronts is knocking so want to rebuild them at some point & can\'t have car off the road in the meantime
