A little bit more power???

Is there anything I can do to the standard RSK TT engine to get a bit more kick out of the turbos? Can the boost be increased without to much work.....Oh and thats the main thing at the moment...limited funds!!

Zero/Sports Sequential Controller.

It won't create more power, but it will deliver the power you have more evenly, so you don't have a big VOD in the middle, so may seem faster.

A number of other people on here have used them, so maybe a few of them will pipe up and advise what it's like now

id say exhaust is gunna be at least $500, and boost taps are like $40+ depending on brand/quality, no idea where to get it done in AK tho

Answer 1: Boost taps can be fitted easy enough, just have to be sure which vac pipe you put it on. And then you have to be rather careful in tuning it to what you want. Though you'd be more safer going with what scoobydoo said and get the ZeroSports sequential controller as more boost leaves your primary turbo more prone to fail

Answer 2: I'd recommend Al's Mufflers in Glenfield/Wairau Park. They do very nice work. Though it might set you back a bit more than $500

What about something simple like upper engine cleaner and checking the air filter? Could help a wee bit.

Two ultra cheap mods

Mod the std intake - its better than earlier subs but you can still improve it. Cost $0 - 20

If you have a boost gauge.

Lenghten the hose going to the wastegate - add maybe 1 meters of hose. This will bring the boost on quicker so car will feel faster. cost $0 -$20

No Idea on current psi...& don't even know how to check! It is totally standard at the moment....

Yup, don't even thing about modifying the car without a boost gauge.

Why has this not been said yet. Save for a bit and single convert it. The zerosports controller is not to bad. Look for a modded ecu. What year is your car. I got a chipped ecu for 1 dollar on tm. Made a big difference. Then sold it for 150, haha.

It's a 2001 model...... have noticed a few things on TM, but not sure if certain items would suit my car???

Im going to ask a stupid question now!!!!! How do I monitor the boost pressure in both turbos, does the reading come off the same vaccuum line?
