Sunday is the motorsport day of the weekend - so stops a few of us turning up. However if Ben was to arrange something for a Sunday night, we could make a day of it - motorsport during the day and CS meet in the evening

Thats all the upcoming events in the region. But doesnt include all Manfield events or most events in the Manawatu (theres always something on at Manfield anyway).

You should come along to an event sometime. Slipway (tarseal autocross in Brooklyn on the 30th) is the perfect venue to try out motorsport, safe low speed event and $30 entry. Dont require anything special done to the car either....

Speaking of which, if anyone is interested in trying out motorsport, I will be at the meet this Saturday with a couple of other regular competitors, and we are more than happy to help people out/answer questions etc. Motorsport is suprisingly easy to get into for very little money - you dont need a race car

Sweet thanks for that, was looking for some information..., wanted to see if i could get some kinda of integration going here, or at lest have meets on days / weekends when there isn't much on...

At this stage, Yes - however its weather depend so check back here Saturday morning, (around 10.30) and there will be a message to weather its on or not

A free place to park thats covered would be outside the Wellington Indoor Sports Centre on Thorndon Quay, between Blair Wright and the Stadium (the parking is under the overbridge), the parking I think is technically for WIS users, but at 2pm in the afternoon it may not be too full?

Hiya, just letting you know there may be a lot of cars around stadium even at 2pm cos the lions are playing auckland there at 6.35pm saturday night. So they will be charging like wounded bulls and have areas coned off.

The weather is going to be off and on today, What i'm thinking is if we all meet up at Mt Vic @ 2.00PM and see what its like then, we can make a decision on what to do then, if Sunny we can cruise around the bay as planned, if not we can cruise to an undercover area and meet and chat.. etc
