Yes. With AVCS you get a different ve at low rpm so your feeling will be weird. Make sure you change trigger patterns to early type though.

well yes it will technically work. the problem you face is do you know what knock looks like? if not then its more dangerous than good

I do and don\'t get where you are coming from.. With a decent oscilloscope program will i not be able to do exactly what the knock block does to analyse knock? I.e take a base runs across different frequencies, take a frequency that is measuring the most noise and use that to make a base line for engine noise. Then as I increase the advance I will be able to see areas that differ from the base line curve that had no knock? The only downside I can see from using this is that I will not have on the fly knock control happening via the ECU as it has no idea if it is detonating or not.

G1 possum link question for ya gotasuby,

I have got a seriallink now, had a wee look and all the sensors seem to be behaving although i haven't taken it for a blat to load it up, but i was wondering if i could start logging on the ECU then come back and download it, or do i have to leave a PC attached for logging?

Hey bud I know Danny said a while ago he was running d/c to get a single stage water/meth unit to work across rev range but how do you set up the map for that? Got everything bar the pump so cross that bridge when I get to it just dont want to run a proper controller. Would be a single nozzle pre TB.

Gains under 15psi not worth it? Thinking of running 2 tunes or just spring pressure with meth turned on just over spring pressure and use boost control to switch meth/high boost on.

That what I did and worked well. There is gains under 15 but not huge. For example I couldn't get over 18psi without pulling heaps of timing on my 2.5 on 95.with meth as well I could run 27-30psi quite happily.

Nope just nozzle size measured it last night pulled it out of a car that was missing pump/tank. Dont know brand either will pxt you tonight you may have some idea.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
