What have you done to your car today?

Fitted alternator cover and air intake that I just hydro printed carbon fibre AND fitted the new black projector headlights. I have to confess, they are a bit 'ricer' but I can't help it, I like them, they give it a slightly meaner look! I'll add some pics later so you can judge for yourself.

Drove it to work.

Not back though. Anyone have issues of hearing a ticking from the passengers side when door is open. Most dash lights not working And lights and door beeper in tune with ticking? It seems to have cut the power to my car. Try to turn on hazards and it goes off like a rabid tick.

InB4 nothing but bad luck.

-Also I know the battery is poked-now.

Maybe a combination of a dead battery and bung alternator/voltage regulator? How many volts is the alternator putting out at idle? Then with RPM above 2500?

Haven't been over it with a multimeter yet. Put a better battery in for now.- might be down your way in October Ross; a mate of mines planning a bit of a hunting trip. I might have to come and drool on your car.

Fitted the rear section of the 'highly controversial' Cusco bolt-in cage. Its noticeably stiffer, will be interesting to see how cert goes when I get around to it (wont be anytime soon - had to fit it to get it home from work today). I'm fairly confident the rear section will comply, just not sure about the front...

You shouldnt have a problem, maybe the front hoops/mounts need to be shaved as they may see it as a sharp object.getting mine certed next week,i just need to remove rear seat, fill seat belt holes, and register as 2 seater

Fixed up the dual-rate spring slider that was making horrible squeaky noises.

Then, to make sure it was fixed, went for a spirited drive around some twisties. First time in a year or so I've done that.

Must be getting old or something, I think I only heard the wastegate really open up once on the whole drive.

Just means it handles as well less brake/accell.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
