After witnessing @Niran's timing belt dramas I ran into some of my own. However, mine was completely self-inflicted. In the weekend I was out running errands in this thing cause its fun and I noticed the A/C was not working and I heard some belt noise.. I was on the motorway and decided it would be fine until I got home. Got home and it turned out the tensioner pulley nut had fallen off and the pulley and belt had started chewing on the timing belt covers. Thank goodness it didn't actually touch the timing belt or get pulled into the timing assembly
I rotated the engine by hand and confirmed the timing belt is all ok.
Also, the oil pressure saga continues. Stopped at the lights the other night and it was sitting at 8psi 😱.. but it rises up with a blip of the throttle so its not giving me bearing vibes.
.. after going over it I think the issues are possibly the oil presser sender or maybe something stuck in the sender rather than a bearing failure. I will dive deeper when I get the time and check out that sender next.
