More like 600. Those GDB's have a massive drivetrain loss due to the power take off to run the flux capacitor

Unless you put in a vortex displacement valve then I wouldnt run more than 225kw atw - you will risk melting pistons with anything higher than that.

Let me know if you want one and will post up a link

Thats like asking how long is a piece of string..

Depends on its past history, setup, tune, how its been lookedafter..

theres no "xxxkw" figure that itl crap out at..

i had 232kw on my gdb motor and it shat itself in a big way..

Others have run that figure with no problem...

You dont know how much it can handle till its to late nad its blown up hahah

Kevin,

Stop being an idiot. Your car as it is currently is way more than what you will be able to handle. Just get out onto the track and stop posting stupid topic after topic.

how much better does the newer 2.5L out perform the 2.0L in handling power on stock internals?

Its weaker than the 2.0... Pistons are worse for sure - v common for ringland failure

i had a 1956 subaru back in my day, the engine was made from new alloy technology and german engineering.. the turbo was the size of a dinner plate and it would tow logs out of the kumeu forest like a hooker serving extras in a thailand strip joint, after we wound the exhaust boost up to 45 psi and the intake boost upto 300 psi it was pushing around 500 kw at the fly wheel.. we had to put sacks of sand in the boot as the bugger would launch 20 feet in the air if we tried to drag off the log skidder.. i found the seats very uncomfortable at that sort of power as it would vibrate so much and cause jarring in the hips..

as mentioned earlier by someone else the flux capacitor had to be realigned every 3 weeks due to excessive use and various technology upgrades.. i dont recommed driving faster than 260 kph in a circle tho as you may find your lunch ends up on your windscreen which can make it hard to see the boost guage on the bonnet

good luck

depending on tune and condition of engine

on the street u may be able to get away with 260kw

but on the track perhaps 230

You and spec C should get together, then you'd be able to convince each other that this thread is the truth.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
