details :

The legacy...

92 VZ legacy stationwagon, high km, manual.

5 star alarm

Decent speakers (No headunit)

Has an EG33 in it - 90% running

Megasquirt ECU (whats giving me grief, needs to be changed to link).

WRX bucket seats, rails to fit BC/BF wagon

RX7 Series 5(?) aluminum race radiator

Sti rear muffler (fully muffler - not cannon type) has STi embossed on tip

Mitsi wasted spark coilpack.

what are you budget? you looking at over $10k easy

there is an option of NOS, Cams, Meth injections, supercharger, twin t3/4 and a V8 engine... yeah... 400hp easy...

curious, and don't get me wrong, its an honest question. where are you pulling this 400 figure from?

have you driven a 200kw atw car? a 300kw atw car? i'm sure most people don't comprehend it properly

if its just for bragging rights and the show scene, then i'm jealous of how much disposable income you have. :P

4 pot subaru wrx calipers pull up a 300kw wrx no problem on the street, no good after a few laps on semi slicks at the track tho.

If you are mechanically minded you can get a shit load of change from 12K, I have been suprised with amout of 400whp+ subarus in church iv seen in the last 6months, 2 BG's, 1 BH, 5 GC8's. 400whp isnt that bigger deal anymore.

For a street car, such numbers are strictly for the show or NZPC scene.

On a 2.0 it would not be a great daily driver. I would suspect a quicker spooling smaller turbo but lower headline power figure would be faster.

Could u make 400hp atw on the standard engine and a big turbo ?

std shortblock ej257 and 207 have made that sort of power. How long it lasts is up to how its used and tuned

400hp atw lol dreamer for a daily...

I'd start small, get an sti engine an turbo with a link some 4pot/brembos maybe a race radiator an intercooler. with a good tune you can get a usable hp on stock suspension as a daily... any more an your going to need some mega funds an time/know how and it won't be good as a daily...

ez30 turbo would be best way to go for big hp after seeing the youtube vids..

im sure that EJ257 will get 400hp with supporting mods... there are some people in the state with the LGT with larger turbo, injectors and reflash getting 500hp.. got some youtube video somewhere theres a LGT doing 10sec

EJ207 is pushing it...

They are brutal for street. There prob wont be that much difference in useability between 200kw and 300kw atw..........on the street.

Either is more than sufficient for any regular road going task!

nope - its about 170kw atw. 206kw is at the flywheel.

QFT - i only run mine on low boost or.. exactly 200atw on the street... you actually cant even really use that in anywhere 50km/h tbh.. 1st gear to the redline is about 60km for most and wont even give 100% loading on the engine.

      Afternoon team,
      im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket. 
      Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.
