Rear Brembo Adapters

Well I'm pretty keen to put some brembos on my 2006 3.0R whats the best option for sourcing the adapters for the rear? does anyone sell them in NZ? or do I need to head to ebay?

Yeah that's what I thought too - also what did you do for the rear handbrake shoe issue?

I didn't do it to fit brembo I did it to fit the 2 pot brakes. So no problem with that

Ah okay do the Subaru 4 pot and 2 pots fit okay without handbrake issues?

We have made some adaptors designed and made here in nz. Will get some photos up soon for you. And can get the hand brake issue sorted. There are 2 options. Either conversion rear brake discs or modified shoes

Yes

I went with DBA conversion rear discs, but I'm due a change soon and will go with modified hand brake shoe instead this time. Over time would end up being cheaper because the conversion discs are spency!

Technically it will need cert yes, but we have seen them on a number of cars that do not have cert plus they are black to decrease visability. 

These have also been developed by us to fit both Subaru 2 pots and Brembo 2 pots, and won't vibrate on the backing plate of gen 3/4 Legacys as a lot of other adapters do.

Then import a set from Japan that came off a S401/S402/tbSTI like mine has. No adaptors so no cert needed

The last lot I made were cheaper but now being a company and all I had to get them engineered so they could pass cert and pay gst etc. Unfortunately if it was a get some made and sell them without declaring profit then gst wouldn't be a problem
