removed the rest off the air box, the part from inside the guard that most leave in, ready for some induction whenever i get the pipe

Photo documentation would be most excellent :)

Today, filled up the windscreen wiper bottle with more water and windscreen wash stuff. Also put some blobs of bluetak under that plastic cover for the speedo and stuff to hopefully stop the damn rattle.

Just need to see how to take off the plastic cover thing on the steering column to stop that *(^#$(*&$*(#&$*(&$ thing from rattling. /rage.

hands got way 2 dirty 2 take pics with the wifes camera sorry, its very simple tho, if u do it, jack car up remove rim, then remove the inner guard, u will see a metal bracket, undo that, theres a nut inside the engine bay, 2 actually, just under the airbox/pod filter and then theres 1 near the front of the car, but inside the front guard that holds the massive filter box in aswell, then it just falls out, the hardest part for me was not braking the plastic clips that hold the inner guard in

Removed a cracked rim due to the dickheads who are building the new motorway extension not being able to completely fill a trench that they dug across the road, or put up roadworks signs when they hadn't left the road in a useable condition.

I went back and took a photo after work but it had been re-filled and had become a lump across the road by that time. Not even sure who to complain to and it has taken another month for the crack to open up. So really not sure how good any argument/proof is by now. It was bad enough that the whole car got airborne when I hit it as my head touched the roof/ceiling (what do you call it in a car?).

Damn that sucks!! I hate some of the roads about ChCh. And the drivers! Fuuuu there's pothole, now they come up my ass all angry cause I slowed down..

I'm also seeing Tony tomorrow so I'll ask about the Cold Air Intake too :D

In general the roads don't bother me cause there's not much we can do about that, its when some dickheads cut a trench across a road and then don't compact it properly so it slumps overnight and leaves a nice deep trench with sharp edges to ****k wheels that it seems a bit pointless and lazy, especially when their signage starts another couple hundred metres down the road. Plus I just seem to like wingeing more than usual at the moment....;D

I'm still encouraging him to keep working on my heads too. Slowly coming along nicely. It is kinda weird for me being a paying customer for once though.

Wish I could get my work done for free :( But tomorrow should be fun :) Interesting looking at the subby's just chilling there. Especially the one with a poddy the size of my head.

I don't normally get work done for free. What I get is Tony and Josh sitting in my car drinking beer while I try to solder stuff and concentrate or moving things just as I'm about to weld them. It may be due to my tendancy to stand around drinking beer and annoying them while the "3" of us work on the rally car ;D

My favourite cars are the old Escorts that sometimes grace the shop. Although once the coupe finally gets out of the paint shop (I've been waiting in ChCh for it since 2007) then there will be another Suby to really drool over parked in there ;D

On topic again: also today I tried to convince the machine shop guys to make my vernier cam pulleys that I've been waiting 12months for. Not sure if I got anywhere as I also dumped far too much "proper" work on them an hour later :(

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
