i like my cars with no damge history at all to the body or chaasis , bumpers ok but metal and roofs no

That's not entirely sensible... for example my door got damaged by some numpty in a carpark so I replaced the entire door with a mint one... I didn't want any bog etc. either but if it's done like that, what's the harm?

could have failed a warrent because of sill damage and that might have been noted down but it would have to have been fixed before you passed the warrent so you shouldn't really have to worry

has the car been jacked up recently to change mags of springs or struts as this is more common than you'd think.

yeah it depends how bad the sill damage is... if its a big dent in the sill itself then it will definitely fail a wof as a vehicle's sill is known to be one of the the strongest part of the vehicle.

Cars that come into work with sill damage will be refered to a panel beater down the road for a quick examination..if he gives the clear then we carry on with our WOF inspection

if the sills so strong why does it get munted so easy ? :D

carjam will list status when imported , carjam wont list wof fail items

So it was imported damged, repaired and had an AA check which wont find much in real terms anyway

its picked up on the wharf and/or at compliance when the interior is stripped out

The car is "flagged" as having had major repairs / or needs major repairs

When a car that has had pervious repairs the car then goes to a repair certifier, who does a 3d measure and assess the extent / quality of the repair

Sometime the repair will be checked by grinding of paint / bog etc - this is when it gets costly

if it need major repairs, then the repair certifier - will state how the car is to be fixed and signs of the repair once done (he may also need to check during the repair)

Either way the car is "marked" permenantly on the LTSA system as being imported damaged

whats a v10 worth on the market?

surely you would have asked this question before purchasing it? If it was bought on TM then no, you cant still back out and you are legally obliged to go through with the purchase.

YES I IS HERE!

My main point is that this car will ALWAYS have the stigma of being "imported damaged" attached to it. Cars that are damaged here and repaired do not have this and are undetectable if done well.

I know as when we traded the mrs previous car in I discovered this and went nato at the dealer who sold it to her unknowing of the history.

      Afternoon team,
im new to the group first time posting. Im hoping some body can help me get my launch control all dialled in on my link g4x. Ive had the computer and car all tuned from chris at prestige awesome knowlegable guy super happy with the results but now im wanting to get my launch/anti lag all dialled in. Ive been reading multiple different forums etc all with different conflicking information which has made me nervious with what do i listen to this or that if you get what i mean. Now ive started to make myself familiar with my PClink software etc the past few weeks and im eager to learn how to do minor setups or tweaks etc so im not relieing on my tuner so much and obviously saving myself abit hurt in the back pocket.
Now back to the question at hand.... Im wondering if theres and one who could please share there knowledge and wisdom with setting all my values, timing, fuel etc when i have launch control armed and engaged, or even a launch tune file they can possibly send me to load onto my tune. Ive figured out the setup of my digital inputs turning launch control on etc and its obvisously on its pre set factory settings. It engages but doesnt sound the greatest or as angry as it should i feel. Hence reaching out to you good buggers.

Cheers in advance for any info and help yous maybe able to give me.

      Cheers Shaun
