coz i pay 1.8k with nac, for stock sti, valued at 10k with not a single conviction :-\ :'(

I'm 23. When I was 21 I was with NAC and paid about what you do. I have a wreckless driving conviction and 4 or so losses from demerits. My car is a 94 wrx with 25grand or so thrown at it. Get a quote from Club Auto, it will be heaps cheaper for you if it was for me!

Go to Lantern Insurance, they don't care what mod's you have.

When I was there, the amount of people who said "I hadn't got around to telling you I put these mods on" at claims time and still getting paid out is a joke.

this is with auto club, NAC was 2.3K!

is there a statute of limitation on disclosure with insurance companies?

(ie)i read somewhere about a 7 year limit on disclosure.if you dont disclose historical imformation can this be used to decline a claim?

Well they generally specifically ask you "In the last 7 years, have you or any other driver been in an accident..." etc etc

Don't worry, when it's sorted i'l start a thread.

Pretty much it's at Lifetime Insurance Brokers, who deal with NZI, AMP, Lumlys, so when I get the sysyemside sorted, i'l be able to refer/request quotes for selected individuals.

If your impatient, you can ring 0800 65 64 66 and request a quote.

I've been insured with CLIC (a division of AMI) since I bought my car around October 2009.

I had no complaints about these guys, until I called them yesterday to find out what the deal with test drivers is, as I'm thinking of selling my car.

They will not insure any test drivers, regardless of age, end of story.

Is this typical of insurance companies that you guys are insured with?

Anyone over 25 is insured under my policy with State. Thats what it says on the contract.

Insurance in Auckland and Welly, AFAIK, is far more expensive than most other NZ locations...
