you could use them at day time or for show. they could be taken off in seconds!

Your not actually legally able to use them during normal daytime driving let alone night time. They are intended for show use. But that didnt stop me using them during the day.

I got my ones for the legacy from Airplex industries in auckland. Have a look at their website - they do pretty much every car.

And yes they can be taken off in seconds. simply lift your bonnet up and inch and pull it out.

iirc i paid about $160 for the pair.

Got some OK pics this weekend. Standardish GTB 2004 (BL5). Subtech pipe, AdrenalinR Resonator and Simota Panel filter. Reflash to come, repaint mags to come, darker front windows to come.

Looking good mate! Thinking about getting my fronts tinted too; who you going to use? Also, are those mufflers the factory ones? Or are they the AdrenalinR resonators you mentioned? (I'm not sure if resonator is just another name for muffler)

Would be pretty cool to get all the BP/BL GTs in Auckland together for a shoot I reckon haha.

Im using Tint-a-Car Hamilton, $100 for the front, good quality films with 10 year gaurantee.

Rear mufflers are OEM, resonator is the small muffler on the mid pipe (ribbed casing) ive cut that out and added a 350mm adrenalin R which you cant see, even from the rear. Aim is to have an OEM looking car with a few visual tweaks (tints and recoloured mags) with 220-230 kw at the motor.

looks like its had a front fibrglass lip put on and then wasted new bonet and front will look 100 times better

Apparently you just spray it on in coats, one or two won't affect light output too much at night, and you can just take it off with meths for warrants.

Keen to hear if anyone has used it before I purchase in case I have been led up the path - looking to tint my revd wagons rear lights, and possibly the fronts too if I am too poor for the black covers.

the VHT night shade stuff works well, but only do 2 light coats, I even passed a couple of wofs with it on, ended up givin the lights away though

i would not do the fronts with the spray! unless youve got a spare set of headlights!! backs ok.... only do LIGHT coats though.....

any lens cleaning product will scrub the paint off for a warrant but wont get rid of a pink sticker from a picky cop
